1ClickImageExtractor is a simple tool that gathers all the images present in any web page and embeds them in an HTML document. Looking for images, the program scans not only the page with the URL you give, but also those pages links to which are provided on this page. Thus, it is not uncommon that your HTML file ends up containing many more images than those you can see in the active page.
The program can be accessed either through the GUI provided or, if you are an Internet Explorer user, from the new tool bar that will automatically appear in your browser. The interface itself is simple offering no meaningful settings or options. The only way of making use of the images detected is save the HTML file that the program produces. Contrary to what other image extraction tools do, 1ClickImageExtractor does not create an individual JPG or BMP file for each of the images found, so you will need to open the HTML file and right-click on each image if you want to save them separately as image files. An important difference of usage between the GUI and the IE tool bar is that while the former requires you to copy and paste the URL you want to scan, the latter will automatically extract the images of the active page. Regrettably, this option is not available for other browsers.
